For blind holes, that do not go through the material, use carbide tipped and solid carbide Brad Point bits for dowel and shelf pins used in cabinet and closet construction. They have a center point and outside spurs to cut a clean hole. The shank features a height adjustment screw and a landed flat for set screw tightening. Special sizes are available on request.
