The SCM Minimax TW 45C fixed spindle shaper is a powerful and versatile machine, perfect for woodworkers and craftsmen seeking precision and efficiency. Powered by a 4 HP single-phase motor (230V), this spindle moulder features a standard 1.25” spindle and offers four adjustable spindle speeds (3,500/6,000/8,000/10,000 RPM) to meet various woodworking needs. The machine’s 39” x 22” worktable, with a height of 34”, provides ample space for handling larger workpieces. Designed with ease of use in mind, the TW 45C includes a micro-adjustable infeed and outfeed fence, a T-slot for enhanced versatility, a miter gauge for angled cuts, and two flip-stops for repeatable precision. The quick spindle lock ensures efficient tool changes, while the dual exhaust outlets keep your workspace clean. Ideal for both professional and hobbyist woodworkers, the Minimax TW 45C is built for performance and durability.

Professional and very sturdy

The unit has a cast iron structure. It is closed off by a cast iron “cup” to protect mechanical components inside the machine from sawdust, shavings and dirt. Precise and safe machining with the spindle moulder fence with micrometric adjustment complete with vertical and horizontal pressers.

Tilting spindle

On request, it is available the 45° tilting spindle, toward the inside of the machine.

Customizable for any requirement

The 270 mm sliding table on tw 45c, provides a greater support, very useful also for tenoning. Precise cuttings, even for large work pieces, with the support frame (option) with telescopic fence.

High-tech accessories

As option it is available the spindle moulder hood that uses a system for adjusting the guides with a rack and it is fitted with a mechanical digital readout. Thanks to the system of memories the hood can be removed and repositioned without losing the machining position. The maximum tool diameter during moulding operations is 240 mm.
