The Best Finish and Feeding Effectiveness of any material and in any working condition thanks to the pneumatic adjustment. The unique ability to differentially set the pressure on the infeed and outfeed rollers, allows to change at any time the pressure exerted on the work piece.

One Machine for Every Requirement with the Interchangeable Rollers. Quick and easy changeover of the rollers that allows the operator to configure the machine drive function in case of special requirements such as minimum removal of fine wood and/or batches where multiple pieces of different thicknesses are processed.

Feeding Rollers on Connecting Rods: Perfect Finish. The stopping of the work piece and the presence of notches on its surface are eliminated due to the movement system on all three rollers that allows their vertical displacement by rotation and the best linear feeding.

Monoblock Base
Monoblock technology is used in the design and fabrication of this base. The solid, welded base undergoes a treatment call normalization which stabilizes the metal and assures exact tolerances. All machine mechanisms are mounted, aligned, and referenced to the base. This design is vastly superior to frames that are bolted together and have no true reference point.

Electronic Worktable Positioner
The electronic positioner for part thickness ensures maximum precision and reliability for work piece thickness set-up. Automated movement in jog, semi-auto, and programmed mode allow easy, quick and accurate positioning.

Variable Feed Speed
A variable feed system controlled by an electronic inverter is used to perfectly match feed speed with the amount of removal. The inverter additionally monitors the cutting load and automatically reduces feed speed as needed during heavier cuts.

Pneumatic Pressure Adjustment on Top Feed Rollers
Variable hold down pressure can be applied to the feed system to compensate forwork piece weight, removal, or to minimize markings from the infeed rollers. The first infeed roller is a steel sectional (also available in rubber).

Work Table Support Rollers
Used when planing raw, uneven lumber, this feature allows irregular material to be planed that would not feed on a standard table. When the material has been planed flat on one side, the rollers can be lowered to allow a clean pass on the other side.

Planer Head Assembly
The SCM feed system includes a powered sectional steel infeed roller and powered rubber outfeed rollers. This combination helps ensure feeding of parts with variations up to 6mm in thickness. Anti-kickback fingers and a sectional chip breaker are also part of the feed section and provide both safety and a quality finish.

Tersa Cutterhead
The quick change knife heads by "Tersa" eliminates the necessity of gauging the knives each time to ensure proper setting position. The Tersa knives automatically reference into position when the head is turned on. Removal of the knives is as simple as tapping down the wedge blocks and sliding out the knives. Since the knives are two-sided, they can be flipped over, reinserted, and used again.
