The STR 62L’s brush filaments abrade the softer wood fiber more than the harder ones, revealing the grain of the wood and leaving a surface in relief that can then be stained or filled for ceruse or vast array of unique finishes. With a working width of 600mm, a variable feed speed and working height of up to 300mm the STR 62L is the machine for you.

Structuring
Structuring refers to surface modification where harder wood grain is raised while softer grains recede. This creates the impression that the wood is weathered, antique, vintage, or repurposed with a look that emphasizes the natural beauty of the wood.

Brushing Units
This machine consists of two independent brushing units; together they sand and smooth the wood grain and thereby give the structure a softer, vintage appearance. The degree of structuring can be changed by setting the working depth. Different degrees of finishes may also be obtained by changing out the type of brushes. Easily achieve an even structuring and pressure with the adjustable contact rollers at both ends of each brush.
