Introducing the Lamello Cabineo 8 and 12 Connectors – the perfect solution for fast and easy assembly of cabinets, shelving units, and other furniture pieces. The Cabineo is a one-piece cabinet unit fitting and is installed into a drilled or routed shape. Because the Cabineo can be installed during production, there are no protruding parts of the workpiece, allowing for true flat-pack delivery. The person assembling also does not need to handle a bag of loose fittings and hardware during installation. This speeds up the assembly considerably and also helps in reducing possible mistakes.
The Cabineo 8 and 12 are made specifically for wooden cabinets. The Cabineo 8 features an 8mm screw and 110lb. clamping force, while the Cabineo 12 features a 12mm screw and 200lb. clamping force.
No edge drilling is necessary - instead, it is easily tapped into a drilled or routed shape of the first workpiece. The pre-assembled screw in the connector is then drilled into the 5 mm hole of the second workpiece, connecting the two together. Machining happens solely on the surface, therefore Cabineo can be used with all kinds of CNC machines, including very simple 3 axis and nesting machines.
